About Us

  • Our Chapter history

In the spring of 2007, twenty-seven men were initiated as Founding Fathers into the Bond of Delta Chi at George Mason. This event marked the first of many Greek expansions on George Mason's Fairfax campus that will occur over the next few years, and sparked the fire of change in the Greek community at the school. We continue to carry this legacy of innovation and cultivation of friendship, character, justice, and education.

Our chapter stands by our core values of friendship, character, justice and education through our strong GPA, our maturity, diversity, and our gentlemanly reputation. We encourage you to look around our website and make yourself familiar with our members and our history. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact any of us!

    Our National History

On October 13th, 1890 eleven students and alumni of the Cornell University School of Law identified an injustice within their school and, in working to change this, forged a bond that has lasted for more than one hundred years. It soon became clear that those involved were looking for much more. Realizing a common desire for fellowship and intellectual association, they sought to enrich their college experiences by creating among themselves a common bond; a bond that would provide each with enduring value.  Originally founded as a professional fraternity for law students, Delta Chi is open to men in all disciplines while maintaining its respect for the ideals of the law.

Today, Delta Chi has grown to more than 120 chapters and colonies across North America and has initiated more than 90,000 men. Our website is dedicated to helping you learn more about our values, members and programs. You will also find information you may not have thought about when considering which fraternity is right for you. Becoming a member of Delta Chi is more than just becoming part of a club. It provides you with the opportunity to be involved with an international brotherhood spanning more than 115 years, to refine your personal and social skills, to develop a sense of belonging and fellowship in a college environment, and to jump-start your success after college. It also encourages you to broaden your college experiences.
